Robert Kramer Managing Partner

Prior to founding Altitude Capital Partners, Mr. Kramer was a Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group, Drawbridge Special Opportunities Fund, where he was responsible for sourcing, structuring and executing investments in numerous asset classes. Mr. Kramer developed an expertise in litigation assets/claims and consummated numerous investments in pools of personal injury claims and class action litigation. Prior to Fortress, Mr. Kramer was an Investment Banking Managing Director with Merrill Lynch & Co., specializing in leveraged finance and communications. Prior to Merrill Lynch & Co., Mr. Kramer was with Paine Webber in the Management Associates Program. Mr. Kramer holds an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton Undergraduate School of Business.

Warren Hurwitz

Prior to co-founding Altitude Capital Partners as Partner and CFO, Mr. Hurwitz was a Senior Vice President at HSBC Capital (USA), the US based Private Equity arm of HSBC Group. At HSBC, Mr. Hurwitz was part of a private equity team that established an investment program of investing equity and mezzanine capital in acquisitions, divestitures and recapitalizations in established middle-market companies. Previously during his tenure with HSBC, Mr. Hurwitz was the Investment Banking and Private Equity CFO for HSBC. Prior to HSBC, Mr. Hurwitz was with Nomura Securities International and Oppenheimer & Company. Mr. Hurwitz holds an MBA, with a dual concentration in Finance and Information and Communications Systems (ICS) from the Graduate School of Business at Fordham University and graduated with a B.A. from the University at Albany.

Daniel Henry

Prior to joining Altitude Capital Partners, Mr. Henry spent 20 years in the legal profession as a litigation specialist in the area of Intellectual Property. Most recently Mr. Henry was with the New York office of Baker Botts LLP where he helped manage five IP lawsuits to trial in the last three years. Before Baker Botts, Mr. Henry worked with some of the top IP firms in the country including Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto, Schulte Roth & Zabel, and Darby & Darby. While with the firm of Pavia & Harcourt, Mr. Henry assisted in the establishment of their IP practice group. Mr. Henry has extensive knowledge of IP law and practice. Mr. Henry received his B.A. in History from Columbia University.

William Marino

Mr. Marino has extensive patent litigation experience and successfully litigated patents, trademarks and other intellectual property cases in U.S. District Courts. Prior to joining Altitude, he was a senior attorney at Robins, Kaplan, Miller and Ciresi and Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo. Mr. Marino had lead roles in litigating cases involving a range of technologies including computer hardware, microprocessors, sub-sea oil drilling equipment, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. In his last two lawsuits, settlements totaled $275 million. Mr. Marino has also negotiated many patent licenses and other agreements involving intellectual property. Mr. Marino is a member of the bars of Massachusetts and the District of Columbia, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, several U.S. District Courts, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Marino earned his degree in biochemistry from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and received his J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University School of Law.
